Photo flower project – part 1

The photo flower project is almost finished so I thought I would begin posting the how-to software videos to give you a sneak peak as to what’s coming next!  Once the project is complete, I will post photos of it as a completed project, but right now, you get to see a glimpse of what is coming next!

There are four software parts to this project.  This first is the centers of the flowers. Wondering what’s coming next?  We’ve got the flower petals which are done in the hoop and will be attached at the machine during the appliqué process.  Then we have some really cool textured 3D leaves to add to the stems that are done with bias binding strips.  And we will wrap this up with coordinating label – just in case someone wants to make this as a gift 🙂

I’m heading to SewExpo in Puyallup next week – and YES this project will be shown in person there!  If you are on Periscope, be sure to follow me @LisaSewBubbles to catch some live sneak peaks of this AND MORE!  And if you’re in the Puyallup area and have never been to SewExpo – you really should check it out!  There are still spots in some of my classes, INCLUDING the Machine Embroidery Bootcamp!
